A bent car frame sometimes referred to as a damaged frame, happens when the structure of a car's frame is damaged. It can occur as the result of a collision or accident, such as an accident with a rear-end or T-bone. The force of the impact can cause the frame be bent or twisting and impact the suspension of the vehicle as well as steering and overall safety.
The signs of a bent car frame can include difficulty steering, uneven tire wear, and uneven gaps between the door and body panels. Additionally, a bent frame may cause suspension issues, including an uneven height of the ride or misalignment of the wheels, and uneven tire wear. In the worst cases a bent frame may also cause the vehicle to be difficult to drive and can cause it to be unsafe to operate.
